10th Cretan Music Workshop
2-7 August 2020
The Music & Dance Summer School will take place in Meronas from Sunday 2nd to Friday 7th of August 2020, once again on the tracks of Cretan folk music and on the authentic steps of the local dances.
In the unique natural landscape of Amari, in the center of Rethymnon County, the Cultural Association and the inhabitants of Meronas host important teachers of Cretan music and dance, to share their knowledge and experiences with students from all over Greece and abroad.
During these five days, Cretan Music and Dance are taught as part of an integrated educational experience.

Folk music is combined with the food and everyday flavors that traditionally were an essential part of the festivities in Crete.
