16th Meronas Workshop Announcement

The Board of Directors of the Cultural Association of Meronas, after the tragic events for our region and the unexpected loss of two young people from our district, who fell in the line of duty, came to consult with local bodies, the Municipality of Amari and those involved in the organization of the institutional action "Music School of Meronas".

With the agreement of the above, it was decided, as a sign of respect and participation in the mourning of the families, that the following apply:

• The musical event that accompanies the action and is organized on the last day of the workshops is canceled.
• All parallel musical activities that were implemented after the end of the courses as experiential learning are also canceled.
• The educational workshops scheduled for the week of Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August will be held as normal, due to our obligations and commitments towards the participating students and teachers, who come from all over Greece and abroad, as well as the terms and specifications resulting from the co-organization of the action by the Ministry of Culture and the Region of Crete.

The program for Sunday, August 2, which is the opening day of the action, is as follows:
